| San Sebastian Festival, the patron of Pipa. 18, 19 and 20 of January. On the 20th we have barraquitas, bingo, music and processions throughout the whole city, to celebrate San Sebastian, protector of athletes, soldiers and the guardians of love. | ||
| Carnival, in February or March, when the town and beach are full of people out to enjoy themselves, dancing and dressing up. | ||
| Environmental week, the 5th of June in conjunction with World Environmental Day. This was created on 1998, the NEP fulfils a fundamental role in the locality, besides educating local residents of the importance of looking after waste, the flora, the animals and the water, and it looks out for the sustainable development of the region, without environmental aggression.. | ||
| Juninas Festivals, those that are not from around here can be pleasantly surprised by the local “juninos” festivities. The fireworks and smoke coming from the bonfires that are lit in front of the houses are already a tradition in the State. This is the way the natives express their devotion to the monthly saints. | Celebrated throughout October. Each year it gets better, and exceeds people’s expectations. Local restaurant owners use this time to show off the great richness of north-eastern cooking, where they bring together new products with raw materials from the area.
